On this class I will be taking you through the necessary steps to sharpen Japanese swords and I will explain the theory behind producing the best and most suitable edge. After a demonstration you will move on to sharpen your own sword with my guidance. For swords especially it is important to remember that each one has a unique condition and you must use your own judgment from sword to sword while applying the core concepts of what I teach on this coarse.
